Africa is undergoing a digital transformation that’s reshaping how healthcare is delivered. Patient records, diagnostics, remote care, and training are increasingly digital. Yet, many of our valued frontline healthcare professionals lack equal access, confidence, or readiness to harness these tools. That’s a concern we must address together.

Over the past 10 months, InnovateHealth Africa (IHA), in collaboration with our scientific and public health partners, has developed and rigorously validated the Digital Health Literacy Self-Assessment Tool (DHL-SAT). This is a scientifically designed, evidence-based & user-friendly tool that helps frontline healthcare workers check their own digital health literacy skills and get AI-powered tailored recommendations for growth. Think of it as a quick way to know where you stand, and how you can grow, in today’s fast-changing healthcare space.

Right now, we’re at the final step before full launch and this is where you come in. We are running a controlled pilot to finalize the scientific validation protocol, confirming that the tool delivers accurate and reliable results across diverse demographic groups, job roles, and settings. At the same time, we’ll be evaluating the usability and real-world functionality of the digital platform, how it performs when used by clinicians in their daily routines.
