Meet the 2025 AHIF Graduating Fellows

After months of rigorous training, collaboration and community-based problem-solving, the 2025 Africa Healthcare Innovation Fellowship (AHIF) has officially come to a close.

Fellows from across the continent gathered today for a virtual Demo Day, the final phase of the program where they presented practical digital health solutions developed during their time in the fellowship.

The Demo Day was not a competition, but a showcase of what becomes possible when local knowledge meets the right digital tools, networks, and support systems. Each team demonstrated how context-aware innovation can help accelerate progress toward equitable healthcare access in Africa.

In his keynote remarks, the Executive Director of InnovateHealth Africa Oluwatobi ADEWUMI reminded the fellows: “No one is better positioned to solve Africa’s challenges than Africans themselves when they are given the skills, the network, and the resources to lead.”

The 2025 fellows will now join a growing network of health innovators shaping a new future for the continent.
